Endocrinology Profiles
There are a number of tests within the Endocrinology Profiles. A test from this profile may be recommended:
- where there are concerns over adrenal fatigue which can occur in individuals when they have been coping with long term or extreme stress
- where there are concerns over thyroid function and a total thyroid screen in needed
- where there are concerns over the level of female hormones and/or a suspected imbalance of these hormones, it may be useful in cases of menstrual irregularities, infertility, menopause, fatigue, breast cancer and osteoporosis
- where an osteoporosis assessment risk is required
- where there are concerns over the level of male hormones and/or a suspected imbalance of these hormones
